It helped me to remind things and it…
It helped me to remind things and it was really good because it actually had somebody call me instead of just a reminder to come up on my phone that I might miss

I work for Adult Health and Care team-
We use CareCalls all the time for our service users, particularly those that have trouble remembering medication. I have recently set up call reminders twice daily which has reduced her need for paying for carers on-going.
I like that if there is no answer from the service user or any concerns then a text message is sent to family member/emergency contact to inform them.
It takes about 5 minutes to set up and starts immediately which is great for high demand response services. You will receive emails to check up on your referrals/service users and you can contact them to change info etc whenever.

Care Calls have helped my son manage his medication independently. He often forgot to take tablets and as he lives independently this was a real worry. I feel it’s helped him enormously.

Care Calls offer an incredible service. I have given 4 stars as it would be very useful for the website to offer the user the option to make changes in advance so that reasonable adjustments can be facilitated to timings of calls depending on changes in circumstances.

CareCalls have provided myself and my family an invaluable service. It ensures that if anything should happen to me and I am physically unable to make a call myself or operate even a Careline pendant, watch or cord, then I know that my children will receive an alert as soon as I miss my set alarm call. For anyone living alone, this gives much needed peace of mind.

Setting up Care Calls worked great for my client who returned back to his independence after short term care from hospital. All he needed was to make sure he doesn't forget his medication which Care Calls did. This meant he is now living independently at home.

I set up a regular CareCalls check-in for my Dad. He lives alone (and I'm a long way from him) so although we speak regularly, he wanted a nightly check-in because he's worried if anything happens, it might not be obvious immediately.
This way he gets a nightly check-in and if he doesn't answer, I'll get a notification. He's really happy with the service, exactly what he was looking for.

Great service, I'm in my 30s so it’s not just helpful to elderly people, the check in call is a real help to my party time carer who also works.

Care Calls have been invaluable for my patients who may forget to take their medication at the correct time. I also am aware that they have other services which I am sure I will use to help my patients remain as independent as possible in their own homes. My patients have been grateful for the service their are receiving. I would fully recommend to anyone who has a patient, loved one or for themselves who may be a little forgetful at times!

97year old lady kept forgetting to take her medication, care call’s now phone twice a day and she now takes her tablets 90% of the time. The back up system, where we receive a call if she doesn’t answer her phone is very reassuring. We don’t see anyway the service can be improved.

Mum wasn't taking her tablet at the right time due to sleeping in or falling asleep to early. We were recommended CareCalls by our health provider and glad we gave it a go. Works very well and puts my mind at rest.

Mum was continually forgetting to take her evening medication and due to no family living nearby it soon became a serious problem. Luckily we came across CareCalls who had the solution we needed - brilliant service at a very reasonable monthly cost and very easy to manage. We no longer require the service currently but will resume at a drop of a hat. Thank you CareCalls for an invaluable service!

Carecalls are helping services users and there families to stay independent as far as possible. It is not intrusive and cost effective. Advisers are also very polite and helpful. Special thanks to Max Pownall as he is very professional, friendly and is always happy to help over the phone or via emails.

A great service which allows my friend to keep her independence for as long as she can, without the need for care visits which can be intrusive.
From day 1 of using the service no medication has been missed, love that you can record your own personal message for the daily automated call reminder.
I've now got peace of mind that medication is being taken daily.

I was advised to contact carecalls as my dad has early dementia and is forgetting to take his medication. Carecalls ring 3 times a day when he should take his meds and this has been a really helpful reminder. Dad get the call and immediately does it. He doesn’t know how to access his keypad on his mobile as he keeps forgetting but that’s ok. I just get a text whenever he hasn’t acknowledged the call and can ring and check he’s had meds. This system is working really well. If I can’t call straight away then I’m aware he hasn’t responded to the automated message.

As a person who once spent 3 days unconscious on my living room floor. A person that lives alone with no family close enough to regularly visit, this service has completely put my mind at ease.
