Luckily her son Steve happened to be visiting and was able to call an ambulance. Amelia had to have surgery and lost full mobility for over five months.<\/p>\n<p>Even though she recovered and was very mobile, both she and her son Steve were worried about what would happen if she had another fall and no one was around to help.<\/p>\n<p>Steve set up a check-in reminder with CareCalls.
