How do I stop or pause the regular reminder/check-in service?

You can easily pause or unpause a service at any time. Please note you can only do this if you are either the person receiving the check-ins/reminders or an individual supporting them who has permission to manage the service on the call receiver’s behalf.

Method 1: By phone

A service can easily be paused or unpaused by ringing the number on which the check-ins/reminders are delivered (see which number you receive your calls on here). Please follow the instructions to pause or unpause a service. Please note that you can not set a future start/stop date when using this method 1.

Method 2: Online

Click ‘Update a CareCall’ at the top of this page and follow the on-screen instructions to go to the online dashboard. Click ‘Call details’ and scroll to the bottom of the page to add a start/ stop date. This online interface enables you to not only pause/unpause the service immediately but also to schedule future dates when you would like the service to pause/unpause.

Please also note that your financial subscription is not stopped during a pause period, if you wish to cancel the service or believe you will not be using it for a long time please see this article.
